What we collect and how we use it

If you provide us with personal identifiable information, such as name, email address, physical address, phone number or other personal information, you can be sure that we don’t sell or disclose your personal information to any third parties.

When you enter our web site , we collect your browser type, IP address, browser language and other standard information into web logs, which we use to help diagnose problems and improve our services. In addition, we use ‘cookies’ to store certain information on your computer which ties certain pieces of data to the user. ‘Cookies’ are widely used on many web sites to facilitate users’ browsing, purchasing and other online activities. We recommend you do not remove or block ‘cookies’ on your browser.

When you send a message to your friends or others using our services, your message is stored in our servers, and will be dispatched to the recipients when he/she enters Causemunity to view messages. Similar to an email, the message is strictly between you and the intended recipient of the message. We do not share or disclose message content or personal information with third parties.

We keep multiple backup copies of user messages so that we can recover messages in case of system failures, for a limited period of time. Even after the message is deleted or account is closed, messages may still remain on our servers for a limited period of time.

We may use data mining tools on user messages and user actions to analyze web site traffic, product popularity, and other statistical data. We may share the aggregated data and non-personally identifiable data with third parties.

We are very concerned about protecting the privacy of children. We don’t intend to collect any personal identifiable information for children under the age of 13. If you are under age 13, please do not register with Causemunity. In the event that we have collected personal identifiable information under age 13 without parent consent, we’ll delete the information as soon as possible.

We recommend children between 13 and 18 to seek their parents’ permissions before registering with Causemunity.

Our website may contain links to other websites, and messages you receive from your friends may contains links too. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites. We encourage our users to read other websites’ private statements that collect personal information. This privacy policy only applies to information collected by Silver Bits.

We take proper security measures to protect your data from being tampered by or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
